Billy, i have to admit , I wouldn't watch one movie for a long time because of the title.

But I'll tell you what. It was great , too.

I liked the story line and script and the ending was very good and not what I expected.
Shirley MacClaine was excellent(and very talented in many gendres) in her role.

Unforgiven is on. Had to leave the l.r. I can't handle Gene Hackman.

Yep...I remember the same...something negative about the title which
didnt jell...couldve named it better maybe...
Drank many cups of coffee over the years watching Eastwood movies...
All began with Rawhide tv series I suppose.....
God that was a long time ago.....

Gene Hackman is one actor I cant stand a bar of....
I hated his role in every movie he was in...
Even the submarine movie with Denzel Washington was bordering
on unwatchable....
His role always seems to bring out an intense dislike....
Bit like Brian Dennehy in Rambo First Blood....

OMG! You have to love(to hate/acting) Hackman. Lol

He was great in , "The Quick and the Dead" with Sharon Stone.

It was years after that came out before I viewed it.
Craziest "western" I ever saw. Lol!

That's what he does! Makes you hate him !

He took the bad guy roles , though.
And he excelled in every one!

It took me many years to appreciate Hackman's roles. Lol
Can't say I blame others for not liking him.
