A shame that has to happen so soon into it...
You did good introducing yourself. It's a polite way of planting the flag - I'm here, neighbor, and that's not how I live or what I like to see.
Y'all have a nice day now, hear?
Good fences make good neighbors. I'll have a locked automatic gate and very good security cameras everywhere with signs warning their presence. My home is nice but very simple on the outside and I will eventually have big dogs. I'm comfortable with my immediate neighbors and I will keep good relations with them. I didn't let the hillbillies know, but I am always armed, especially in the country by myself for 4 legged predators, but it works for 2 legged predators also.
Something tells me the hillbillies won't be much trouble. John's parents own adjoining land and they have a very nice place. I think John is just an underachiever who made poor life decisions when he was young. He works at a paper company near my brother's house. At least he is employed. His sons shouldn't cause any trouble so close to home, but I will keep my distance and keep my eyes open. I just did a search on the sex offender data registry and the nearest convicted pervert lives a mile away. I searched before I bought the land and nothing has changed.

Lookin' good.
One advantage to pole-barn construction is, the exterior goes up FAST.

if you run 3/4" rigid or IMC for most of your elect, in an F-2 you just might stand a chance of living.

They didn't waste much, but they only framed the outside 10 ft walls and sheet metal is pretty easy to figure. I'd be worried if there was a lot of waste.Casey Jones wrote:That was a clean construction site!
