What's You're Favorite BBQ Sauce ?

There are quite a few great ones out there.
And many I don't like.

We have two very old brands made in Louisiana. They're very different to most sauces on the market but very similar to each other. Both are cooked down with lots of fresh onion and vegetable oil.

They double as a basting sauce and a BBQ sauce. If you put them in a metal bowl on the pit, the oil rises to the top and you can baste at will. Toward the end , you just stir up the sauce and onions from the bottom and finish off the meat. Also, by this time the sauce has reduced and cooked further. I'm too tired to go pull pics from the net. But if you'd like to try either, you can search for Jack Miller's BBQ Sauce or Pigstand BBQ Sauce.

I don't like Kraft, KC Materpiece, or Jack Daniels.
I do like many of the store brands because they have a lot of clove in them. Lol.

My all-time favorite, and I discovered it way to late in life, is Sweet Baby Ray's.
For all the different sauces they make, and I've tried every one, I still prefer the SBR Original BBQ Sauce. It's the most balanced sauce with smoke, heat, sweetness.

However, about a year and a half ago, I took a chance on another flavor of SBRs.
It's by far the best BBQ Sauce I've ever had!

That's a trademarked name owned by the university of Georgia. It's hard to find Vidalia onion sets to plant.
The sauce is guaranteed to contain at least 6.4% Vidalia onion.

I buy sweet Baby Ray's too.

I used to make my own ketchup, mayo, and peanut butter.

We used to make BBQ Sauce in college. Lol.

I had a podnuh who could make the best baked beans in the world.
