Butter Tomato sauce for pasta
I thought someone had posted this and i tried it. Maybe i found it and was just thinking about it.
So what i did was to put butter in a pan. Maybe three tablespoons because i had just a little past maybe 3 cups and this was an experiment and i didn't want to make a big pot.
Butter in pan, about medium heat, melted, add diced fresh tomato, no onion, added flour for thickening and then milk THEN added basil, hives, garlic pepper seasoning...my own homemade blend, some salt. AND then added just a quarter cup maybe of some pasta sauce i had left over and wanted to use it up to free up space in frig. Added to the nice pale rose color.
added to pasta. didn't bother with parmesant. little extra salt and yummy. I could be happy with that.
