Stupid Diets

Just got back from 'doctor'.   Had blood work done about a week ago.   Got copy of stuff today.   I'd lost 4 lbs.   Cholesterol is down to 184 and all i did was give up coffee because i lost my taste for it and replaced it with jasmine tea.    plus my ldl is excellent.    as if any of this can be explained or understood by medical field.  makes no never mind to me but they seem to put some stock in it. LOL

oh also increased my dairy slightly which caused a decrease in my sweet tooth.


also. Said to him as he walked into the room with no mask. WELL...finally nice to be able to see your face after this scamdemic.

How DARE you go and LOSE 4 lbs?! J/K. Good for you! I've been struggling lately.

How I wish coffee was on the list of things I could quit to improve matters, but, drat it, I don't drink but maybe 6 cups per year, if that. Very glad to hear of your most excellent health. :thumbsup2:

I wouldn't exactly call it excellent but it is good enough i thank God for it.

You don't go to any doctors, so how do you know that you can't?

Between my husband and myself, we see 3 or 4 doctors regularly. NOT ONE has so much as suggested the jab. Ever.

Why not give it a shot? (Oops. No pun intended. lol.) Seriously. There's all kinds of new meds out there for borderline diabetes, sleep apnea, and COPD, that may very well benefit you.

It's different by region.

Maybe compensation is different by region, also. I don't know why they'd be focusing on us, since this county is bluer than blue; but they are.

When the Jab set up, the big hospital's clinic, which had an urgent-care branch clinic in the local mall...actually set up a public Information Center outside their door, in a corner of the main pedestrian causeway. Brochures as well as nurses at the ready, to Jab you NOW if you even thought you might want it.

All of them face-diapered, of course.

This clinic is also the one that fired the Nurse-Practitioner I was assigned to, after my physician "retired" (after a stroke, age 48). She was a new hire, from Portland, fleeing the Jab Mandate. She was a single mother with a six-year old. I know this because the one time, the only time, I went in to meet with her (there were no physician appointments available) she confided this to me. After she gave me the required sales pitch on the Jab.

And they fired her a month later. Even though mandates to keep a job were forbidden in Montana, they found a work-around. They offered me an appointment with a new physician, Laticia with a hyphenated name...and at that point my Medicare status was messed up. I declined, told them I'd make an appointment later. That was a year ago; and no my emergency stash of meds is running out.

But they're both rich from government subsidy money, for the deaths and the Jabs and the Remdesivir they've forced on people...and they're suffering Stockholm Syndrome. The more they see they'd been lied to, the more they push the lie.

After my visit with my own 'physician'....I put that in quotes because face it...they're not really our doctors...they're gov't doctors now, I went to a building near by... Rehab center for immobile folk,  with a diet coke, double cheeseburger and small fries for the guy that ran our local gas station/convenience store, VERN, who had a mild stroke a few years ago, work related, that had him retire or dead.. He chose retire.   Well.  he flew to vegas end of last year for some fun and on the way back he fell down the stairs on the plane. ALL. THE. WAY...and broke his foot/ankle.   He flew back, was chauffered back to charlottesville and drove the rest of the way home late that night himself   Saw doctor next day and they said it was a sprain.  this went on for months when he finally had had enough and finally went to Charlottesville to UVA hospital.  Broken foot, serious. both of them.  Has been in rehab since January of 2023.   Due to get out tomorrow wednesdsay the what? 19th but still faces 1.5 months recuperation at home.

Vern had been in charge of these VERY successful area Gas station/convenience stores for a couple decades and he has a knack for taking them from mediocre to real money makers.   I never asked him if he went to college (snicker) or if this just came natural.  I'd have to say it comes natural but i'll ask him anyway.  Single guy older but very family oriented with his sisters and brothers families.   Very connected.
and not gay.

Additionally, he met me at the door in his wheel chair. I had to sign in of course and the lady behind the desk handed me a mask ad said, verbatim..'you have to wear this till you get to ...whatever.'  I put it on my ear and followed Vern to a nearby social area for patients all unmasked. I'd call her half hearted in her masking orders at the very least.

CJ, it's sure kind of you to think of Vern, and make time to be with him. And, to bring him some decent food!

@2cent have you ever been in a situation where someone is weighing on your mind and you say to yourself...i need to visit or connect in some way with that person and you delay and before you know it...that person is gone...as in passed away.

I've screwed up too many times to not follow that nudge..THOUGH I DO NOT believe that Vern is on the verge of passing away...far from it,...you never know. At least if that does happen, i have a clear conscience.
