"The Manhattan district attorney is a Soros-funded prosecutor, so he, like other Soros-funded prosecutors, they weaponize their office to impose a political agenda on society at the expense of the rule of law and public safety," DeSantis said. "He has downgraded over 50% of the felonies to misdemeanors. He says he doesn't even want to have jail time for the vast vast majority of crime, and what we've seen in Manhattan is we've seen the crime rate go up and citizens being less safe."

He also said that Bragg ignoring everyday crime while digging to find something on Trump is a key example of how he is weaponizing his office.

"We won’t be involved in this. I have no interest in getting involved in some type of manufactured circus by some Soros DA," DeSantis said. "He’s trying to do a political spectacle. He’s trying to virtue signal for his base. I’ve got real issues I got to deal with here in the state of Florida."

Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., slammed DeSantis's response on Twitter as "pure weakness," claiming he is controlled opposition and is "totally owned by Karl Rove, Paul Ryan & his billionaire donors."

What a contemptable, little, snot-nosed jackass. Could he possibly be any less gracious?

I remember watching an fairly early-on rally of Trump's. (2016 election) Trump, Jr. was talking up a storm prior to his dad coming on stage. His girlfriend, (FOXNews reporter, whose name escapes me atm), was in the audience. Reason I bring it up is because his mouth was jaw-dropping. Repeatedly dropping the F-bomb as if it were the word "tree." It was astonishing.

He's since cleaned it up. I wonder if his g.f. had anything to do with that. IAC, somebody gave that crowd good advice, and they were smart to take it. At least as far as that part goes.

Please pardon my rambling. I'm no fainting flower, shocked to faintness by strong language, but this complete loss of manners all around is a bone of contention with me. We've a huge population of people - which includes many congressmen and other 'professionals' - who need to grow up, and start acting like real men. And ladies.
