I'm not positive as to who is writing them, but I'm sure you're correct on why the bills are hundreds of pages long.

As to who is writing them, I imagine it's the usual suspects; Soros and Gang. Which, as you infer, does include state and federal legislators, in many cases.

Meanwhile, in the other corner, we've got people pushing hard for 'Diversity, equity, and inclusion; critical race theory; environmental, social, and governance', (borrowed from Mike Gonzalez at The Daily Signal), horror stories making efforts to control how you spend your money. (IOW, time.)

A lot of people say that buying gold is a way to get around this kind of control, but I wish someone would explain just how that works.

IMO lobbyists should be outlawed.

The Politicians want to control healthcare and our finances because that would give them total control over EVERYONE. Something that the politicians have wanted for a long time. If the politicians can control the money and the healthcare, they can dictate what you spend money on, how much money you are allowed to have, who is "deserving" of healthcare and how much healthcare they "deserve" to have.

I can't even imagine having that kind of responsibility as to have control over everyone, and can't imagine who would want it or what they would do with it.
