Bruce Willis' dementia.

I have enjoyed the Willis' action movies I've seen. As for his present illness, which also afflicted my father and is at work on me, here's what I know, what I think I know and what I guess. You can accept/reject it on that. I'm not a doctor:

Plaque begins building up early, maybe in your teens, and it coats the entire circulatory system in a slow buildup of micro-thin layers over the years.

So the solution is to remove the buildup -- the coating. Whatever removes the coating is what you want to regularly consume in your diet, and that would be whatever gives you a clearer head over time as blood circulation provides greater oxygen and nourishment.

That would be regular excercise that doesn't kill you and supplements, foods, etc known to combat and/or reverse the condition. Duh. That's all there is to it. You will tell if what you're doing is helping by how you feel. Really very simple, eh? Well, it's all I got.

I've had two family members suffer from dementia and it's a terribly heart breaking condition. I wish he and his family well as they are in for a rough ride.

I heard on the radio last night that Willis' type of case was rare and had a specific name. Post it and the link if you happen across it.

Not finding the specific information. It came from a doctor close to the case. Here's the more general blurb from NYP:
