Re: Aboriginal Culture
I'm as stunned and appalled as the next guy. What a sorrowful way to have to grow up. It's heartbreaking. And worse, the people in charge only have feeble 'fixes', and that's because they only pretend to care.
None of which fixes, nor answers, the insanity of putting people this warped in charge of making major decisions.
Yikes!

Re: Aboriginal Culture
I was reading a forum yesterday and they were discussing this, well fighting is more the correct term for it.
People were laying out the problems of the toxic Abo culture in the hope someone else may take heed of the enormity of it, call out the media etc.
Same ole same ole though. The lefties just totally disrupted the thread with cries of "RACIST" followed by "TRUMP!" Bizarre behavior to say the least.
I never thought I'd dislike a group of people as a whole. I never have before and always saw the good as well as the bad that made up the whole BUT with leftism, for the first time in my life, I cant do that. Those I once thought were reasonable leftists have now moved more right and sit in the centre and they, too, think their used-to-be comrades are now nothing short of bat shyt crazy!

Re: Aboriginal Culture
Personally, I dont think the indigenous problem in this country will
ever be solved.
Back in the 60s when I was a teenager, the indigenous slept/camped
under a bridge down near the river and always seemed to be
begging for food....
The two indigenous kids in my class from memory always seemed
neglected.
Nothing changes...
Drawing a parallel to my days in sunday school, when I was about
12 years old....
We were always told to pray for the missionaries in Ethiopia and the
people suffering there from drought, famine and general hardship...
That was over 60 years ago...
Nothing changes.....
ever be solved.

I don't believe it will ever be solved either. It's too entrenched.

Re: Aboriginal Culture
At least you two are willing to look at the truth.
What would you suggest be done to at least get it off YOUR streets?

Mate there is nothing that can be done apart from a total alcohol ban but that2cent wrote:At least you two are willing to look at the truth.

does not help the culture itself apart from wiping out alcoholism...
A friend of the family was a Police Constable in Doomadgee in Northern Queensland
for several years....
He has told us of incidents which would leave you totally gobsmacked...
Incidents of child abuse, domestic violence, alcohol abuse, petty and major crime
incompetent parenting........etc etc...
And this is after millions upon millions of dollars have been thrown at them for decades and decades...
They are beyond hope....
Totally beyond hope....

From the mid 1860s to 1970 the government, churches and welfare bodies took the children from their families and communities. They call it the "Stolen Generation."
They were adopted by or fostered by non Aboriginals and/or put in institutions. They were fed, clothed, taught English, educated and denied their Aboriginal culture.
I hate to say it but that needs to happen again. Whitey is hated greatly by the "Stolen Generation" but they are an absolute disgrace.
