Thanks billy!
Such lanquage..... lolol.
We have a deal like that where a young person gets a beginner's license a year ahead of time , after certification, as long as a fully licensed driver is present in the vehicle.
We call that a Learner's Permit where they cannot drive without a fully licenced driver in the car. After they pass the test at 17 they go onto Ps lol.
P1 or Red Ps - You're not allowed to drive with more than 1 passenger in the car who is under 21, can't drive over 90km/h (60mph), can't drive high performance vehicles, can't use mobile/cell phones unless completely parked, zero blood alcohol. Then there's demerit points which I won't go into. You are on Red Ps for 12 months.
P1 or Green Ps - similar but slightly less restrictive and you can drive at 100km/h (62mph). You are on Green Ps for 24 months.
This is for NSW. I don't know about other states.
Y'all peepul crazy!
They would have me arrested if i took the tractor to Sydney for beer and brats to cook at home!
Put $350 worth of groceries on the cutter, and leave da stow( supermarket) at 17 mph heading home.
I bet i would fit in mo better in New Zealand at @vege57 ,s bowls club.
Well, I'm not sure who the crazy one is here because, you see, Sydney is a rather large city and no-one has a tractor in Sydney. I imagine they'd arrest you if you drove your tractor around LA or NY too wouldn't they? Or do you commonly drive tractors around large American cities? Lol
If you go rural, or semi rural, outside the city you could drive your tractor or ride your horse for beer whenever you want without too much fuss I'd imagine.
Y'all city people too uptight when it comes to tractor humor . Lol
Is there a law against tractors in Sydney?
Must be y'all english roots.
Me roots sprout from france proper and mixed with nova Scotia. Lol
First thing I'll buy in australia is a tractor .

How do you know they weren't going shopping? Lol.Red Lily wrote:Green Acres all the way Lol.
You don't need a licence to drive a tractor here either but I don't know the road rules and, I admit, although I've seen people on the roads on their tractor I've never seen anyone going shopping on one. Lol
You might be missing the best days of your life.

They way OZ is moving , you'll need a tractor to survive if you can find fuel.

Re: Why Australia is stuffed.
lol But I'm good. And even know you are. too. Tractors can make for a handy conveyance. I just wouldn't go that route, or it'd take 3 days to get to the store and back. lolHawkTheSlayer wrote:Lol.
I just realized this will perplex 2cent even more. Lol.
One day im going to explain .
Yes. I have a valid drivers license.
I'm not in any trouble with the law.
But to confuse the Aussies, if I can, each state in the U.S. has its own rules, as far as getting, (or losing), your driver's license goes. In AR, a kid can get his permit at 14 yrs of age, and drive by himself after not too long, as long as long as he has a reason to be out, and is home by sunset. But you can also get special permission, if your job requires it.

its insidious...
So insidious that the stupid peasants dont even realize it......

Oh goody! Australia just issued 850 visas to Palestinians. Just what we need on top of the 100 dangerous criminals they just released.
On top of that a bunch of grubby looking protesters who were involved in the BLM protests are blaming the police for being rough because there was a baby in the crowd whilst these idiots were trying to stop an Israeli ship from being loaded. Who'd take a baby?

Australia and NZ are always in the top 10 countries to live in.
If someone gripes constantly about living in either country for almost 1 year they have problems
Show me a positive upbeat posting Billy has made about Australia.
