Tostitos' very good salsa.

Best salsa in a jar: Tostitos Chunky. Store-bought salsa is usually just so-so, but this stuff is very good, IMHO.

Yummy. Tostitos salsa and Doritos original.

But I don't buy any frito-lay/PepsiCo products.

I change brands every time to keep from getting bored with salsa.  My current favorite is Herdez.  Herdez has more of a tomato taste.  Walmart's Great Value isn't bad either.  It's pretty similar to Tostitos.

If you are ever in Dallas, eat at an El Fenix location. They sell their salsa by the bottle as you are leaving. It's sweeter than most, but has a really good taste.

have you ever made your own salsa. It is not hard and nothing beats it.

I haven't tried, but someday I will. I'd like to grow my ingredients also. It's on my "to do" list.

Now, I'm not saying I'm the best or worst cook, but this stuff is better than my own. I'm getting more next time I go to the store. I usually don't pay attention to brands, just to what I like.

The best salsa in a jar is, 'El Pinto'  it's made in Albuquerque NM, and is served in the El Pinto Mexican restaurants.

It might only be sold in New Mexico and,  Arizona.

I buy it by the case,  online,  directly from the company.

 When I was in California,  I couldn't find it and, I think I did buy the Tostitos salsa. Didn't like it.
