You may be right. There was one time in my career where my Supervisor was one of those women you referred to. I couldn't please her no matter what I did. She was hoping to write me up or fire me but, there was nothing she could ever get me for. I worked for her for a year or two and then went to another job for more money, more responsibility and tons more respect.
