Best Male and Female Vocalist of Any Music Gendre

There are so many to choose from. The thing is , many are also master musicians although you've never seen an instrument in their hands.

In the male Rock arena, I think Paul Rodgers is still the best by far. David Coverdale being a close second.

On the femme side , without a doubt, Ann Wilson blows the competition away.

My absolute favorite growing up. Brad also sang all of the backing vocals on the first 2 albums.

A close second is Geoff Tate of Queensryche.  His mother was an opera singer and trained him to sing opera as he grew up.  He is a natural baritone with a 4 octave range.



I can't argue with Anne Wilson.  I also like Karen Carpenter or Allison Straus.

Best group vocals.

Ann and Nancy at Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin finale.
This whole PBS show is great(minus Obama and his husband) . 2011, I think.
Features Kid Rock and Foo Fighterrs in great performances of Zep songs too!

But it's hard to top this. Ann Wilson just nails it all and all the Zep is blown away with respect and gratitude.

I know you're at least. 10 years younger than I am. I lived those Boston days and it was some of the finest music and vocalist of the day thanks to MIT Tom.

Yeah , cross over to bluegrass and country. Allison just rocks it.
The first time I heard Allison's voice in the band with Jerry , I thought I was listening to an angel!

I've never heard a voice like that in my entire life! It super impressed me!

She is a great musician , also.

Then she let her hair grow after she got rich and went sexy and did all those vids with Robert Plant.

Zepp was the best band ever in my opinion..
