The RNC is trying to punish Republicans who voted against Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker

There's a Republican named Jack Smith who is trying to unseat Eli Crane even though the situation doesn't call for it. Eli Crane does not cause controversy like MTG or Lauren Boebert, and he's certainly not a right-wing equivalent to the "squad" Democrats. He is one of the quietest members of the House. All the establishment Republicans are mad about is he didn't bow down to McCarthy as the House Speaker. They are willing to risk Democrats flipping the House just to make sure the only Republicans in the House are cuckservatives.

All it really does is further justify not voting for McCarthy originally. Control of Congress is just not that big of a deal to McCarthy's inner circle.

If this "Jack Smith" candidate was really a conservative, he would be trying to primary Juan Ciscomani instead.

If he didn't bend the knee to McCarthy then he may be a trump supporter...is that the case?

Got to remember that what is important to us is not of import to our so called republican representatives and senators. We want to win the war....they want to win the purse.

It is really difficult to know because someone may APPEAR to represent the people as Mike Pence did and then turn out to be a traitor and NeverTrumper.
