It's very cheap to charge an e-car.

If its a 220 volt, just run an extension lead from the garage , I wouldn't have thought they would charge off line voltage , Be a DC charger ?

I'm not saying a cord won't work.  Ford says no extension cords and my uncle doesn't know any better.   My parents still have the 3 prong outlets and I don't think the circuits are 50A capable.
