We've let so many of these poor oppressed immigrants into our country that our society will never be the sanctuary it once was . And its very easy to pinpoint the groups that wanted this to happen .

I don't know where he's being treated.  If it's at Jamestown General...unlikely they'll have a moose-slime nurse.  Could have a doctor; but even up to 15 years ago, there was little-to-no Ollie-Snackbar presence in the area. And moose-slimes don't like to act alone, without others to scream Ollie-Do-Snackbar, and get them a place in God's Whorehouse.

If they medivac'd him to Buffalo...far more likely.  Buffalo, remember, was where they found a few al-Qaeda cells, after 9-11.  Lackawanna...which is a large industrial suburb of Buffalo.  Lackawanna is (I think) where the Peace Bridge actually comes in to the US.

This really bugs me.  You know, I almost considered buying property at Chautauqua Institution, after I retired - as investment property.  My income is low but my credit is great and I have VA mortgage-backing.  The idea was to buy a small house or condo, live in it in winter; and rent it out for the nine-week summer season.  Rents during the season, can be around $2K...A WEEK.

The summer rental would pay for the mortgage; and I'd live free for ten months.  In a beautiful place.

Except that it's cold there, winters; and since COVID, the whole state is becoming insane.  Actually it's been a long, gradual process; but COVIDiocy was a marker, a State Line of sorts, that you couldn't ignore.

And now, this.  I expect the Institution is going to change drastically.  Phalanxes of police, regulations, security gates...are so going to change the nature of life there, that many families will just not bother.  And that will lead to the death of the Chautauqua Institution, as Democrat Woketardedness has killed so much else of American life.

The NY Post is saying NY authorities are not allowing the AP or the Post to attend the hearings . They think that they will sensationalize them against the Muslims .

Apparently, they've been pushing this Moslem-Christian "Communitarianism" (get them together and then destroy the tenets of Christian faith) for awhile.  They'd radicalized the Chautauqua Christian Fellowship, with a dyke preacheress, with pro-Moslem sentiments.

This is what comes of it.  Next step is, Chautauqua failing, and becoming a tumbledown no-longer-fashionable summer community.  Across the lake, Point Chautauqua, had exactly the same thing happen.  It was a Episcopal competitor to Chautauqua's Methodist roots; and it failed.  It became a secular summer spot, and in the 1950s, it failed that way, too.  By the 1960s the area, planned by Frederick Law Olmsted, had been reduced to two abandoned grand hotels, rickety frame cottages, plenty of vacant lots.

It rebounded in the 1990s, but that was the result of the Reagan Revolution.  We have nothing similar coming.

Salmon Rushdie has been a bellwether for Western-Moslem interaction for most of his adult life.  And now, possibly, the end of it.

Says he is off ventilator and talking but he's got some serious lasting issues. Loss of eye, damage to liver, nerve damage.   HE's 75...he's only going to recover so far.

Unfortunately the media and the police haven't been able to put their finger on a motive for the attack on Rushdie.
