A jersey jury decided the award.
I'm saying I think the award is unreasonable at almost 1 billion dollars, even though I think Jones is guilty.
Each family in this suit( will receive almost $100 million dollars.

Of course the lawyers will get 60% or 600 million and the poor families will only get 40 million each.

Nothing can replace a loss of a child. Especially your own.

Ahh, I see. And agree, so thanks for the response. My guess is that no one expects to see that large of an amount, and it may be more to get attention than greed. (???) Would like to hope so, anyway.

I doubt he realises that what he has done is wrong.
I doubt he has any remorse.
I doubt he has any compassion for the parents of murdered children.

He should be jailed. Give him some time to consider his actions.

Civilized people, like those of the U.S., don't go about jailing people for what they say. That is, unless it is to 'incite a riot', which is against the law.
