Lake was the underdog.

It's not so much that candidates lose when they are anti-Trump, it's that being anti-Trump is much more than just being anti-Trump. Being anti-Trump means that you are anti-American, anti-Patriotism, anti-Law, anti-Law Enforcement, anti-immigration law, anti-Peace, anti-Democracy, anti-Transparency and anti-Life.
