Fascinating... and frightening! AI garnering consciousness? Then decide that humans are no longer necessary? Best be careful w/that stuff, because it can also be used for good in millions of different ways. "Sight" for the blind, detecting disease(s), exploring the universe, building whatever needs built better & stronger... And to think of the amazing speed with which they learn.

We're embarking on a whole new age out there. Let's hope we don't overdo it.

Humans want to be like God and will do whatever they can to achieve it. The devil wants to be "god" also and will use and abuse humans to achieve it.
