Dying clothes

I really miss all the colored jeans. Then it struck me on my way home today; why not buy white, and dye them? Will the dye take?

Jeans are pricey.  We'll see.  Sometimes you need special dye to adhere to cotton.  Or, use something like 2 CUPS of salt.

Think I'll do an internet search.  (Then watch.  Somebody'll steal my idea. lol)

I haven't dyed anything for years so I'm no help. I'd think cotton would be the easiest fabric to dye evenly though.

GHQ has redyed her black jeans with black dye to restore the color. Seems to work.    Here's what i'd do.   Go buy a pair of jeans at Goodwill or some thrift store cheap..and do a trial run.

I have clothes so old, they need a decent burial.

Seems like you could dye jeans at the same time you do your hair and save money.

I was careful not to use the word dye.

I typed "do".

I have no idea what color X's hair is anymore. I can tell she does it herself now.
