The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution

' .............. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. ...........'

I don't like it. It comes from a flawed bygone era and leads to suspicious thinking and violent planning.

Really, if you live in Arkansas, who is going to threaten the security of your state?
An adjoining state? Martians?

Did this amendment encourage the BLM riots ?
They were a well regulated militia who thought they were necessary for the security of their state

The "militia" is from the people. The emphasis is more on FREE than on STATE. The 2A is to protect the people from an overreaching government. Personal security is a big plus. Our Constitution is what keeps our government from shutting down our country like Australia. The division of power limits the federal government and the 2A keeps all government on their toes.

The second Amendment is what all the other Constitutional rights hang on.

I have no interpretation of the 2nd amendment, nor do I have any
interpretation of any part of the US Constitution....
I am not American...I do not live in the USA and I have no
desire to even attempt to understand the US Constitution....
