Cleaning the oven top

Our oven top is stainless steel . We don't clean stuff much.
The oil residue on the top is dried and baked on.

Any thoughts on how to remove it?

oven cleaner maybe?

find an old jar of ban smear-on deodorant. coat sparingly. wipe off after it eats the shit awhile.

its pink, white glass bottom cup, red metal top. ive cleaned brass with it alot. only problem is locating some. its called " Ban ".

i dont want any. as it appears most anti persperant will do the trick.
