I've eaten crawfish on those gambling boats along the southern coast. I know they have claws but is there meat in those claws that you can eat?
and i take it you cook crawfish same as you do shrimp. right.

i respect you alot Hawk. but in blaming the oil industry for gas pipelines............it would be akin to blaming the oil industry for the old condensate wells off kukendal drive in north houston for American Electric Power drilling and operating the gas wells there.

I know who's at fault. Ive traveled and worked in tens of thousands of acres of swamp and marsh. Ive seen the reckless damage with my own eyes.
Many parties are at fault, including landowners themselves who own land in the Atchafalaya Basin and viewed that land as useless. Especially after they raped all the old growth cypress.

so then why are you blaming oil producers for being forced to sell their gas at a loss when theyd just a soon flare it?HawkTheSlayer wrote:jirqoadai wrote:youre like a greenie Hawk. pointing the finger without knowing who did what.

Cooking and soaking time is a tad bit longer than shrimp, depending on the size and if they are fresh molted(soft and tender shells) or if the are older with harder shells.
Like crab meat, the claw meat is the best. But no one hardly goes through the trouble. Yes, they remove the pivot pincher and sometimes the meat comes out with it, but the meat usually stays in the claw because boiling times for tailmeat and claw meat are different.
If the claws are huge, it's worth it to take everyone's claw and crack them with a hammer.
I've often wondered why no one has created a machine to process claw meat.
But most all the tailmeat processed is peeled by hand at the seafood plants.

Do not buy that Chinese crap. You'll be sorry.
Some of it has Cajuns names on the package. Check country of origin.
