I'm hoping I'll start lol. That's why I put them here in one place so I can access it all easily. I think Pilates is great. Join me!
I find pilates pretty hard.
Am doing yoga 5 mins+ a day.
Someone is walking a mile a day, it is all good.

Re: 28 Days of Pilates 5-10 Minutes Per Day
Yoga would usually involve 45-60 minutes of my evening. Generally, earlier in the day, I'd walk a mile up the driveway and back. And no, it's not any smooth walk. It's a dirt driveway; rocky, w/parts of it hill climbing. I got it down to 12.5 minutes.
That, however, is no longer the case. Talk about the winter of our discontent. It about ruined me. And while I knew what I was doing, I plain just didn't care. Oops.
So, here it is, near a year later. My hips don't work so hot, but I'm determined to make them better because not being in decent shape simply isn't me.

Good luck with that. I hear you.
I tweaked my back about 10 days ago. STILL taking very good care of it.
Amazing, I did very little to cause this, am 'better than average' fitness for a 59 year old and VERY aware of posture when lifting, stretching etc etc etc . 5 seconds of an unmindful action and 'PTANG'.
Is isometrics ok for your upper torso at this stage ?

The doc has got me on a set of stretching and strengthening exercises for bursitis, but I plumb forgot to ask if I should keep them up at my appt today. I'm sure isometrics would be okay, but I don't much see the point.
