Let's start with the eyebrows.

and ...this little gal is finding dates on line for a reason.   Sorry to be cruel but she should get someone else to do her make up. Maybe a clothing consultant.   I suspect there are some other problems that might be solved.

okay. maybe i'm not getting out enough. Or perhaps i don't have enough empathy. I know i have a huge dose of reality though.

What a prick.  She looks like a perfectly nice young lady to me.  Yeah, she's a tad chubby, (so what), and the eye makeup could use a do-over, but it's not to the point of being hideous. 

OR, it could be that she described herself as a close match to Marlynn Monroe, and the guy meeting her didn't much appreciate the lie.

Who knows, when all you get is half a story?

She'd best search for men in a more local setting.

She may be lucky in that the guy was a serial killer. It's happened like that before.

I am not for online dating for the most part. I'm sure it works for some, scant some, but for the most part..it is too risky in my opinion.

Seriously though, online dating is the way of the future. Gone are the days where you can just go out and meet people the way we used to.

You just need to be discerning and too many people aren't. She started off the right way by agreeing to meet him in a public place but then backflipped into stupidity by having him pick her up.

I'd also like to hear both sides of the story.

You will find that type of "make up" on persian women, it doesnt do them any favours either. I dont know who the hell tells them to do this make up or who the hell does this.
She gives the impression to me to be somewhat autistic and probably was 'educated' to be this way at school. And no doubt there are probably 'celebrities' pushing this crap to sell make up they have investments in, or else its some sort of pc crap.
It like when you come across naturally attractive girls who have earrings in their nose and are covered in tats, its a designer self mutilation.
I would like to see the ad involved.

I'm dreading getting back out on the market. I'm debating whether or not it will be worth it. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

What could be an alternative is the muzzie way...
1. Convert to Islam
2. Tell the imam you want to "get serious"
3. He will ask around the mosque to see who is single
4. He will then see if anyone is a viable match
5. You are both introduced (with chaperone of course) and it goes from there.

It isnt any different to how things were done in previous generations, it was only the swinging 60s that changed things.
