This looks good but I'm pretty sure it will take more than 10 minutes and probably a little more beer if you don't cook these covered for a while.

chicken legs in beer?? That's looks pretty good and i think you're right...that's more than a 10 minute cooking job.

Why not make beer batter instead?

I have beer batted fish a lot, even have Parmesan batted fish too.

cause you get a different taste look and coating.  It all depends on what you got a taste for that day i guess.  LOL

Don't know what Tempura is but as long there is some beer in it, I will slurp it down.

Speaking of chicken legs I was given an awesome recipe for KFC chicken legs. I don't eat KFC at all but these chicken legs were damn yummy yum yum finger licking good.

The only problem is that I can't understand the recipe the lady gave me Chicken Legs 3187452777

When I get it deciphered I'll post it.

Tempura is just a batter that incorporates carbonation to make it light and crispy.  I usually use Club Soda but beer is also acceptable.  I've heard of people using champagne, but I prefer to drink that, instead of eating it.  The exception is Granitas. I also use ice in the batter, since the colder it gets, the crispier it becomes.
