I don't know but i'm not feeling real optimistic about this.   They've been stranded for months...there's some 'vehicle' stranded in an exit it seems..i know i'm not using the proper SCIENCE terms but anyway...so now there is this suit issue...one of compatibility.   Of course it isn't a new worry..they've known about it for a month..musk pointed it out to NASA or whomever thinks they  are the geniuses behind this and  are in control of this 'clownworld' activity.     Reminds me of how they strung us along on that little titan submersible earlier this year that totally imploded about 2000 feet down kililng all on board.  They knew it, and kept our hopes up with optimistic news blurbs...like they are doing with calling for rain.   Frankly these people are all incompetents.

I for one think they're probably goners. The hope (and that's all it is) is that Musk's SpaceX ship can rescue them.

Except...the Deep State now is openly threatening Musk. This is pure emotion - they may spring on him before SpaceX gets the recovery ship up there.

In fact, it would be just like this government to seize SpaceX and turn it over to Boeing-boeing. DEI-cize it. Planes n shit, really.

Even if they leave Musk alone, SpaceX has had its share of ignominious failures - explosions on the launch pad, or exploding rockets way up. I wouldn't want to have to count on them to get ME home safely...

This is what we've turned into. Fifty-five years ago we got to the moon and back. Now...we can't handle a jet plane to Anchorage, without a door blowing off.

If you recall, NASA had lotsa failures in the 50's going into the 70's. They created a lot of fireworks. So did Germany in the 40's I'm certain the USSR had it's own share. There was talk in the 60's of them "losing" a cosmonaut in space. So yes, the cost was to coin a phrase, is astronomical. Even today it is unreliable to the extent we are yet unable to transport our hazardous waste to the great incinerator in the sky. When AC Clarke wrote 2001, he fully expected us to have a colony on the moon by the end of the 20th. His reasoning was why we hadn't was the even more expensive waste "Great Society". His name should be removed from the Houston Control.

I think it's funny that they have a DEI Boeing and they are afraid to fly it home.

No one should go anywhere in outer space as long as DEI is in effect. I'm not sure any of us should even fly with the possibility of DEI hires.

I'd heard a little bit about it, forty years ago or so. Of how, on transcontinental flights, often the whole cockpit crew would fall asleep while Autopilot did the work. More than once a crew had been woken up by frantic radio calls from ATC, asking them to respond and give new coordinates...because they'd overshot Kennedy and were flying out over the Atlantic Ocean.

It comes down to this, for me. In a bus, on a train, in my car, on my motorcycle...yeah, bad stuff happens. But when that bus piles into the Tesla in front of it, or the train comes off the tracks...MOST people on the train are just gonna say, Oh, Shit!, dust off their pants, and start walking to wherever the rescue people are going to mass up.

When things go wrong in an aluminum tube ten miles up in the air, where you gonna go? What was the options for those Aloha Airlines passengers, when the DEI-installed door blew OFF at cruising altitude?
