New info from a source in the Secret Service community — Trump’s usual protective Secret Service detail was worked so hard (working 7 days a week with no days off) that many of agents assigned Saturday were temporary replacements from different field offices.

This is not the usual protocol for sitting presidents and vice presidents but “typical” for former presidents, (although no former presidents have run again in modern history.)

“Trump has a permanent detail, however it’s much smaller in the amount of bodies,” the source said. “His detail has been worked so hard with all the travel that they’re working 7 days a week with shift changes. so HQ sends in temp agents to supplement - not a good scenario. Mission Failure, IMHO.”

the team that day were temp replacements. No skin in the game.

looks like these agencies are engaged in clandestine assassination assignments.   Well now that we know it it can only go one of two ways.  Either they get away with it and it gets worse or we stop these people now....the second which is unlikely considering the size of balls in the republlican side of the court.

maybe cheatle was unaware of that. Maybe she is just too concerned with her DEI protocols.

This was a monumental, historic security failure, whether due to incompetence or intentional. I'm going to wait and see what shakes out and ignore all of these "what if" scenarios.

Well, brace yourself Hurricanhook because, you will NEVER know except what they want the public to know. Like always, it will be "leaked out" in dribbles and it will be years before the truth comes out in its entirety if ever. Unless you have some inside track, all you will have is those pesky "what if" scenarios.

I'm not sure that it was incompetence. In light of Bribem's comment about there being a "target" on President Trump's back, I'm not sure but, what it was intentional and deliberate. Had this attempt succeeded, Bribem would be a shoe-in regardless of how few votes he got.

How many years has it been since the Kennedy assassinations? It all depends on who you talk to as to what the "truth" is...
