Garlic Time!

I grew these in 2 large, plastic tubs and 1 old, washing machine drum.

Lol. No mo upside down.

My tab camera is scratched. I took the pic with the iPhone.  Sent it to gmail. Saved it in my files.

I'm both/either or/ left and right handed specific for tasks.
Evidently, it matters which side the click button is .

I think i took this one with the click on the right. Took the first one(upside down) with the click on the left.

I deleted the dupe thread.
I wanted to let then go a week or two more. The tops were dying and brown which is good, but with all this rain(8 inches so far this week and more coming tonight) i was scared they would start to rot. So i dug them and washed them. They're under the shed. Ill start drying them in the sun for a bit everyday if the sun ever returns.

Did you ever buy garlic cloves in the store and have to try to peel all the little microscopic cloves?  Lol. I get pissed.

If you look closely, you'll see all the individual cloves are huge. No little cloves in the middle of the head.

Now this is not elephant garlic, which is actually a leek.
It's organic garlic from california. Not commie garlic.

It comes in a little green mesh sack, 3-5 heads inside.
It's the number one recommended store bought garlic to plant.

You can find it at Wal-Mart or H.E.B.

There may be only 3-6 cloves in a head. Thats how large the individual cloves are.

Any time you think yourself as just po' white trash by the ribber-side...know this. A lot of us wish we knew what you know, how to get along on little, how to be self-reliant, to find what you need at something other than the produce department.

Now that Davos Man has taken to poisoning our commercially-sold food, it's a real concern for me.
