Well seeing as how it's a kangaroo court in a banana republic getting a fair trial is impossible. Trump has already been convicted of a crime he did not commit. This is just a show trial for propaganda.

I am curious though why people in Australia and New Zealand are so concerned with what happens in our banana republic.

Some have strong connections to the US, some have been taught about American politics in school, some have an interest in geography which is heavily taught in school and some are just obsessed lol.

No offence but in contrast Americans are quite insular.

I have enough problems in the US without taking on the world's problems too. Also I'm not in the business of telling the rest of the world how to live. Let them do them and I'll do me.

Well you have some good points there. The only one I would question is we are the world's biggest economy. We are the world's biggest debtor economy. Some day that debt is going to come home to roost and when it does the neo-Roman Empire is going down and most probably the world with it.
