What does the Bible and God say is Christian

book of Acts written by Luke, also author of book of Luke. Acts said to be written about 60s AD.   that's about 30 years after the death of Christ.  Not that they were silent, they preached, travelled and preached, hid, spent time in prison, were persecuted, were executed.

If there is truly salvation and it's not simply a man-made scare tactic i believe I have it now.

It sort of reminds me the term "saved ". Saved from what? Our loving God ?

I think it should be an insult to God for Christians to spend their lives trying to be sure God doesn't throw them in hell.

To pray for the same thing over and over is a lack of faith.

I grew up in the church. I continued with it till about age 40. I've heard enough of the Bible as I've had many Christians step up on a pedestal then pervert a Bible verse to hide behind.

I've also read some of the Bible. Enough to get the idea. Anyone who needs the Bible to understand right from wrong is really too stupid to give a crap about what they think

I'm into broad strokes not finicky irrelevant details from a 2000 year old history book written by men

Nobody yet has proven me wrong about anything
I actually like the "politicsl haven Christian 9" and am enjoying the convos.

Maybe christians sound like other christians because they've read the same book, find it full of truth, or inspiring and they're quoting the same set of books which is known as the bible.

since you don't need to read the bible to understand the difference between right and wrong then what is your source for knowing that?
