God I love me some bread of all kinds and starches too!

I just started buying these again. They are better than the name brand and you don't save any money when you buy a big box and have to add milk, etc.

98 cents. I can hardly eat one. Plenty for two or four as a side dish. Here's where those can shrimp come into play again. Lol.

I gotta go stuff the peppers now. I'm very tired, achy, and hungry

Home smoking mitigates the need for many preservative agents used in commercial preparations.

You take the fresh version and do it yourself.

I like a heavy smoke and usually do two runs at the beginning.
That's for me.

Otherwise, one run of pecan wood or shells is good for a nice color and a beautiful , pink , smoke ring.

My bad. I forgot to turn them upside down.

I like a slightly heavier smoke because I don't eat any of these items, as is.
Most times, my smoked items are fully cooked.

But many times, they are only smoked!
Not fully cooked!
Otherwise, they will fall to pieces in gumbo, stews, beans, etc.

And the extra smoke lends itself to out to the meal very well.

Testing my damn back lens tablet camera. It's so scratched on the diagonal, halfway. Plus, it was dirty.

Looking half ass ok now for a 10 yo tablet.

My bad.  I've never used instant mashed potatoes nor even noticed them in the supermarket. So, I'm afraid, turning them upside down would not have helped.
