I don't know what bothers cats - but dogs are pack animals. The pack is life, to a canine.

A dog left alone without his pack...that would be the owner - is gonna be terribly fearful. He can't help it - it's what evolution has wired into them. Dogs hunt in packs; working dogs are teams. Even pulling a sled - put the pack in harness, everyone has a good time. Leave the dog alone, and he's miserable.

New Years fireworks.

This cat I rescued from semi feral/outdoor living has taken 7 months to come out of hiding...she'd do a little and i could just pet her head. We keep a fire going downstairs to keep the chill off the room for her...she's a small cat, and seems to have a cold...which i will get her to a vet as soon as she trusts me just a little more. I can pick her up....she comes to me for petting and she even let me pull the hair balls off her coat from her hiding under my woodstove. What a complete turnaround. She eats good.....she handles the litter box EXTREMELY well because i introduced these cats to littler and litter boxes when they lived in the abandoned milking parlor. She's doing great, vet is next obstacle to conquer.

If you can pick her up and pull hair balls off her coat there's no reason you can't take her to the Vet.

Red's a christmas movie...and it's one hell of a predictive programming example of karma clearing.

I got socks, drawz, and little bag of gratons(fresh cracklins) from Santa.

Well...I got a new computer.

I'd like to say Santa; but the truth is, I got it at a pawn shop. I guess Santa might have resulted in its being there...

Actually it's pretty good, for it's purpose. Six-core processor; solid-state hard drive (I guess almost all of them have that, now) and 16gb of memory. I was afraid it might not be enough - my previous machine, ten years old, had 12gb - but it's actually working better.

I guess the motherboard is better suited to Linux than the older machine was.

Other than that...got nuffin.
