How come the safest place in America, is in the middle of a gun show?

And yes, it is.

Gunman's family alerted law months before the shooting. As usual..they did nothing. FBI tried to claim they'd never heard of the guy.

@casey jones - When I go to a gun show, I feel incredibly safe. When I'm in a "gun free" zone such as a school, THEN I feel vulnerable!

You take firearms owners for fools.

They are not. Only a few, and they quickly reveal themselves.

The ones who buy illegally, and then brandish weapons the first time someone cuts in line...they go to jail. As they should.

The ones who buy within complex legal stipulations...who train...who practice...who go to gun shows...know, when there's an unfamiliar noise, like a balloon popping...FIRST, ASCERTAIN THE RISK. Find out WTF is going on.

Do NOT draw the weapon until you identify the threat, and non-involved parties near or at risk by the threat.

This is, even, if someone going to a gun show is carrying. A VAST majority do not. Very few other than law-enforcement, carry, even in Second-Amendment-Friendly states.

When President Trump was in office, I felt safe and seriously considered not renewing my CCW. Once the election was obviously stolen, WuFlu "mandates", defunding of law enforcement and the general lawlessness and anarchy that the Libs seem to love. When I saw all of the "misinformation", deletions, censoring, etc., I carry a firearm EVERY DAY and probably always will now because it is clear that the lefties are pushing for Socialism, Communism and anarchy.

It's pretty obvious that a CCW is just an invitation for LE to get BRUTAL in ANY interaction. There was a video of an Ohio driver, stopped for a traffic citation by an unprofessional cop who WOULD NOT LET him tell the cop he was carrying a sidearm. It was obvious; the cop kept shouting him down and threatening.

THEN they take him out - not clear why; he was not intoxicated or belligerent in any way - but then they found the weapon, and went Philistine on him. Off to jail; and I guess he spent three days in before his lawyer could get him out.

His seized firearm, legally owned, had not been returned six months later.

Sadly, that's where Woke-ness is taking us. It's trickled down from the ghetto apes, to mediuh suits, to corporate leadership and government personnel, and now to law enforcement.

Montana has Constitutional Carry; and although I've had the classes, seeing where we are...I'll not be applying for a CC permit. They're still issued to give reciprocity in neighboring states...but I'm not doing much traveling, right now, either.

Everything is melting down.

I haven't seen the video, so I can't comment on it. What I can say is that here in Ohio, plenty of law enforcement officers that I have talked to have no problems with legally purchased and carried CCW holders. In fact what I have been told is that they know that a licensed CCW holder is not a felon, not a lunatic and generally not under the influence. Now while there are exceptions to every rule, that is generally what I have been told.

Others who do not possess a CCW, are thinking quite seriously about getting one because of the crime rate and the Democrats refusal to accept reality.

I also do not travel out of state but, I've had a CCW for 20+ years and see no reason not to renew it now.
