Kroger and Winn-Dixie are very expensive.
Winn-Dixie meat is expensive but they sell mostly choice meat instead of select.

I seldom shop at either.
But we don't have too many options here in the country.

I try to purchase most of my meat from local independent grocers.
Non sale items( shelf price) are about the same price or cheaper than the chains.

i used to LOVE going to Augusta to shop when i lived in Baker WestbyGod. cow was 1.29. horse was .69.
