You could switch to store brands/private label .

Those little packets that flavor a half liter bottle of water are pretty good too. I used to keep a few in my lunch box.

yeah..i'm doing that. I found the replacement for mountain dew at Kroger but they've had it OUT of stock for near 3 months now. So long that i've stopped checking.

I don't think DP is a coke product. Dr Pepper Snapple is a different company. I think they also make RC Cola. DP began in Waco TX.

It may be quite odd for people in some markets to see Dr. Pepper ranking so high up in the list of Coca-Cola Company's most popular products. However, it really does pull in quite a lot of money for the company.

Already in existence since the late 19th century and first introduced for the United States customers in the early 1900's, the centenarian brand has amassed a rabid pool of loyal followers. It may be unfamiliar in some markets, but the Dr. Pepper fans say they like the distinct flavor that no other soda can match.

why would coke or the author of that piece include DP...or are they just stupid...probably the latter.

This is correct but coke makes it , bottles it, and distributes it under license from the Dr. Pepper company in most areas of the country.

so that puts $$ in the pocket of Coke doesn't it?
