Innovative idea. I'd separate them first though and keep the roll elsewhere in case something leaks.

Why not just leave the box of trash can liners in the bottom of the trash can?

I tried that...\and on the rare occasion you have a leak, then you have a roll of sticky, icky liners.

I hear ya. I'd never take that chance. I just don't see the point in going to the trouble of cutting out a square in paper towel roll.Calypso Jones wrote:I tried that...\and on the rare occasion you have a leak, then you have a roll of sticky, icky liners.

The bin liners I buy wouldn't fit the roll anyway. I put them in the bottom (anything and everything) drawer with the top one poking up so I can find it. Then I just pull it up and tear it off. Lol.

I use plastic grocery store sacks so I don't have to buy liners.

I do that in my smaller containers. but my kitchen bags i need 13 gallon. The hack wouldn't work for me either. Notice sometimes these time saving hacks cause you more labor in the long run.

I keep mine on the shelves in the utility room just to the right of the 'Husky', (leaf size), bags, and to the left of the quart-size freezer bags.Red Lily wrote:The bin liners I buy wouldn't fit the roll anyway. (Notice a pattern here. lol)
