She had the cognizant ability to outsmart the manipulative, for profit, foster care system and further the learning process of being the best she could be.

She has the 'ability' to ignore authority, break the system, flaunt the rules and manipulate those who are in control. To me that makes her a criminal NOT intelligent, smart nor could it be said that she will/has/does 'further the learning process' nor is she being the 'best she can be'.

In the same way, abortion is NOT 'healthcare'. Firearms do NOT kill people without human intervention. Adding more debt to the deficit does NOT make us 'better', 'stronger' nor 'building back'. A country without borders is NOT a country. Yeah, there are many lies that the Democrats attempt to shove down our throats.

The way I took her remarks was to say that she'd purposely get into trouble because of how much she enjoyed being with the Amish, then later realized the results of how that helped her structure her life.

I didn't now that the Amish took in foster children. What an excellent strategy for showing children a healthier, happier way of life!

Never thought of it that way. I was under the impression that she "deliberately got into trouble" because she didn't like the Amish rules, ways and/or guidance. If that was what @HawkTheSlayer meant, then I completely missed their intention for the comment and apologize for my obvious bias.
