Bashing DeSantis Isn't going to do Trump Any Good

word is the Bushes and Karl Rove are directing Gov DeSantis' potential presidential run. I do not want Bushes or Rove anywhere near this position of power.

I'd like to see more proof of that, than what a guy who was on Gorka was saying about a guy who sat in for Hannity, from time to time.

Not that I put major stock in what JEB! has to say, but he swore that he never endorsed DeSantis; merely praised him.

So, until anyone can find PROOF that the Bushes and Rove are behind DeSantis, I'll continue to view him as I do Trump - as his own man.

Do you give any credence to that? I don't know; but it doesn't seem likely.

I see DeSantis, who actually takes positions and does what he says...not the same as Fat Karl and Jebster Shrub.

Of course, if they're running the political end...that could explain why DeSantis is suddenly in favor of Moar War with You Crane.

I couldn't fathom his sudden seeming reversal, to private positions he was to have articulated.

This is not looking good. I'm not enamoured of Trump. Never was. He was doing well, up until he got rolled with the Fauccians and Covidiots.

But he did get rolled; he didn't handle it at all well. And now, he's campaigning not by promising positive change, but by smearing his closest rival. THAT is not a good look and not a good recommendation. By tearing others down, one doesn't elevate himself - no, he's at their level. Everyone loses, especially those who have to watch it.

I like deSantis a lot. Everyone does. That said, remember that Trump gets things done, and he gets them done fast. He's an extraordinary administrator who is very efficient and fast. We need to put Xi back on his heels and keep him there, and that is Trump's most endearing quality, which isn't to diminish deSantis. But you have to admire Trump for his ability to cut through the deep bullshit in Washington.

Don't forget that. And don't forget that Xi has got to go.

President Trump was correct about so many things. I'm not certain that he isn't correct about De Santis also. Most career politicians say one thing to get elected and then do the exact opposite once they are elected. Maybe De Santis is the same?!

This is a fight for this country. Get ready for it cause it is coming whether it disturbs yer delicate sensibilities er not.

I tend to agree with you. Even if President Trump gets re-elected, the liberal MSM will pursue him endlessly and harass anyone who supported or voted for him. The lies will continue and the end result is that nothing will change. The voters evidently love corruption, lies, propaganda and spin because that's what they continually vote for.
