Young people today are insane.
We SEE it. All the body mutilations, sexual and otherwise. Pronouns. Lining up for the Jab, even as Jab-ees get the Coof more than non-Jabbed. And more of the Jab-ees "Died Suddenly."
Antifa and Black oLives Matter. Smash up their own cities. Defund the police...and wonder why streets are not safe.
Vote Dumbo crack.
They're insane.

Trek is quality and ain't cheap. Workmanship or price.
I have a Schwinn Mirada mountain bike too. About $200 when I bought it. It's been a great bike but it weighs a ton.
I can pick the Trek up with one finger.
Judas Priest.
You're a bicyclist. Obviously deeply into it, given the price of those machines.
How do you square that with all the PBR you drink?
(Enquiring minds want to know. I tried that, 20 years ago...didn't work... )
You can't spin and drink. At least I can't. Lol.
When I lived in the PNWest, I did the STP(Seattle to Portland) . Not trying to win, of course.
Many of the trails in Washington state had breweries and wineries that catered to cyclists.
I stopped at a brewery between Redman and Woodinville on my way in once, after a hard run. I had 2 pale ales. Only had about 2 miles to finish. I never did that again. Lol.
Crack one open in the car or after getting home.
Personally, I LIKE PBR. 'Tis good beer.
PBR is kind of hard to find here. Cans only. If I could find PBR in the bottle, I'd drink it exclusively. I used to drink Pearl in the bottle.
I usually drink Bud or mostly Busch.
PBR is no cheaper than any other beer, here. It has more hops than other beers. You can taste the wee bit of hops. Lol.
No offense taken. Actually I meant it both ways.
I loved my beer. But it interfered with my road work...I was, for many years, an eight-mile-a-day runner. So, I had to figure out how much of each, and know that the two couldn't overlap.
The other part is...yeah. PBR is bottom-shelf. Not that I'm a beer snob; just that I'd found better flavors for just a little bit more. Living near the Canadian border - before I was banned for life, for nothing - I could drive across the Peace Bridge after getting off work at 0300...go to the Duty Free shop...get REAL Fosters or Molson or the real Carling Black Label. Canadian beer is stronger than traditional American brews...or it used to be.
Buy a couple of cases, and get comfortably numb. With plenty left over...bedtime at 0600; next expected call at midnight the next day.
Just that some things don't go together well, in my mind. A Porsche in a McDonalds drive thru, for example.

But Pabst is a good flavor. Also, however, Molson Golden Ale was one of my favorite beers of all time. When living in CT, that is. Once having moved away, I had to grow new tastes, as the beer was not available in all places, as you know.
I did, as a matter of fact, acquire a taste for an inexpensive beer sold in the Denver area, but can't remember the name. (Definitely not Coors.) Wide-mouthed green bottles, iirc.
However, I have to admit an affinity to the incongruity of a Porsche in line at the Micky D's drive-thru, a Lamborghini parked at a Sonic.
It's pure art!

Write Pabst with your opinion. You can be sure they'll read give it their attention if they think it might it sell more beer.

Too much regulation and dependency on government.
No fitting punishments for criminals.
Liberal judges and parole boards turn them loose to roam the streets and re-offend.

We don't value human life anymore so this doesnt surprise me . Im not one to turn the other cheek so this kid and his family would have to face retribution of the same kind . It would make me as inhumane as them but it would stop the next idiot from crossing that line .Red Lily wrote:Trek-Segafredo cyclist Antonio Tiberi has been fined €4,000 (£3,500) and suspended by his team for fatally shooting a minister’s cat in San Marino.
The 21-year-old rider, a junior time trial world champion in 2019 and recent resident of the tiny republic landlocked within Italy, reportedly said he was trying out an air rifle and aimed at the cat’s head and fired.
The cat belonged to his neighbour, Federico Pedini Amati, San Marino’s minister of tourism and a former Captain Regent, or head of state, of San Marino.
“The cat didn’t bother anyone,” Pedini Amati was quoted as saying by Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper. “It had been with us for a long time. My three-year-old daughter Lucia loved it. You cannot kill a pet and get away with a €4,000 fine,” he said.
“I appreciated that the boy admitted the fact. Having said that, we don’t need to give these people residence.”
Trek-Segafredo tweeted a statement revealing they had given the rider a 20-day suspension without pay and warning that “if necessary the team will take further action in the future”. The team also stated they would donate the pay to an animal charity.

You don't point a gun and pull the trigger at people or animals without intent. His penalty should be much harsher imo!
The pain they caused must be given back with excess or they wont learn . If the punishment is less than we show toleration to some degree and these instances won't stop . Someone once told me that the death penalty doesnt stop murderers and they are correct it does stop that one murderer however and the next ones would have done it anyway . So start killing the loved ones of the murderer and the next idiots will think twice about killing someone .
Harsh but its effective .
This is why I'm such a nice guy

"But if you ever f@ck me, I'm not going to f@ck you up double. Mais no. I'm not going to be satisfied until I f@ck you up at least 3 times as bad as you f@cked me! The first time, to get even. The second time, for my trouble. The third time, just in case you try to f@ck me again!"
And he was dead serious.

I agree that the pain the criminals cause needs to be handed back in excess, or they'll not learn. I disagree with whoever said that the death penalty doesn't stop murderers. Maybe better put, it stops murders. MANY murders are stopped by the fact that they don't let you drink beer in prison.Daily Bread wrote:We don't value human life anymore so this doesnt surprise me .
