Camry slides past 300,000 kms

Didn't buy it, and it sold.

I didn't make inquiries. A little research showed it was one of the last cars to have a carburetor. Oddly, the Corolla that was a twin to this Nova, had fuel injection; but not the Nova.

That matters, because of ethanol in gasoline. Ethanol and carburetors don't get along - ethanol soaks up water vapor and corrodes everything it comes into contact with.
