my Grand Father when he first bought his house, dumped all his engine oil into his heating oil tank, after he screened it for metal shavings. after 15 some odd years, he drove a " pipe " into the ground because it took too much effort to screen for the VIIs. on the plus side, his tomatos took off like banshies.

no. the side benefit of his dumping his egine oil into the aquafier was a healthier garden.

At ten feet he wont get into the aquafier , and I'm not sure that pouring oil on you garden would do it a lot of good, but if you were putting the biochar from your burner into your soil there could be some benefit for it

the very last time i played with it i " unplugged it " and oil poured out the top until i re-plugged it with the rag. i suppose had i wanted to i couldve called a small tanker truck and had them pump the oil and water out of it. maybe i couldve reduced it from 2" to 1/4" and run it to a Tiki god and burned the gas off like they do in the movies.
