We had a Hooters, here. LONG before Coof...it suddenly up-and-closed. It was three blocks from my apartment at the time; I went by it every day; but there were no open angry pickets there (although there's plenty of fat, pink-haired koledge grrllzz who hate men, here). They just suddenly closed. According to the local fish wrap, the manager didn't know why - it was a corporate franchise; and corporate decided to close it. It had been profitable.

Now, the manager was probably lying and knew exactly why; but that was the story given. I suspect it's because it's a business that caters to males; and males are Deplorable, and nasty, and a threat to Woketardism. And various franchise owners don't want to deal with the blowback.

Besides, most young men have hormonal and glandular issues, today...have you noticed?
