As a former Criminal Investigator, I was in several Grand Jury Indictments. The Grand Jury heard from me and the prosecutor, no one else. The person being indicted had no say until court.

exactly. When i served and i hope never to do it again in a perfect world. I came out with no respect for prosecutors and police.
