Ron DeSantis sends two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed through on his promise to drop off illegal immigrants in progressive states, sending two planes full of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday.

A video DeSantis’ office provided to Fox News Digital shows the migrants deboarding the planes at Martha’s Vineyard Airport in Massachusetts.

"Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations," the governor’s communications director, Taryn Fenske, told Fox News Digital.

"States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country’ by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden Administration’s open border policies," she said.

I find it rather interesting that Democrats support illegals until it affects them.

Radio host Clay Travis called for people to take Sen. Elizabeth Warren's, D., tweet about migrants being flown to her state literally, and to "send every" illegal immigrant to Massachusetts.

After 50 migrants were flown from Florida to the Martha's Vineyard, the state's junior senator indirectly blasted Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, R., and stated that her state is "fully capable" of handling the influx.

"Exploiting vulnerable people for political stunts is repulsive and cruel. Massachusetts is fully capable of handling asylum seekers, and I'll keep working with local, state, and federal partners to ensure we have the necessary resources to care for people with dignity," Warren tweeted.

Travis declared that DeSantis and other Republican governors reeling from the border crisis should take Warren literally.

"I think that Ron DeSantis should keep this up and send hundreds of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, I really do," the Outkick founder said on "The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show." "You look at what Elizabeth Warren tweeted. She seems to be -- first of all, she’s not smart, in terms of being able to think about how things are played out strategically – she is smart in the context of being a left-winger."

Travis also noted how many of the homes in the elite enclave are expansive estates, including a 7-bedroom home owned by former President Obama – and therefore they indeed have more than enough room for the migrants, given liberals' repeatedly-expressed compassion and invitation to migrants.

If a state can claim that they are going to ignore certain law(s) and get away with it, why can't a state declare that they WILL uphold all laws including immigration law? Firearms law? Criminal law? Election law? Civilian protection laws? Etc.?

If a state can claim that they are going to ignore certain law(s) and get away with it, why can't a state declare that they WILL uphold all laws including immigration law? Firearms law? Criminal law? Election law? Civilian protection laws? Etc.?

Good point.  I'd also like to see states protest by refusing to enforce all federal laws.  Every time a bank is robbed, as long as nobody is harmed, local police tell the bank to call the feds and ignore it. We can also refuse to detain federal criminals. If the feds don't want to put them in Federal facilities, they can release them.

What I don't think the public understands is that it is NOT just Federal Immigration law that is being ignored. Wife read to me a story about a lady who was raped who then killed her attacker. The lady was arrested for defending herself and had to pay the family of the rapist $150,000. I have heard other stories like this and believe that insanity rules the day in liberal land.

It is getting to the point and may already be, where a criminal has a "right" to victimize innocent people but, innocent people do not have a "right" to defend themselves.
