Its not a laughing matter...
Banks are closing branches everywhere in Oz...
Punters are being indoctrinated into using tap and go cards for everything...

When digital currency is introduced, the banks and the grubberments will have
total control over us...

I like the convenience of the card, but I do make a point to do a lot of my transactions in cash. I don't like to carry large amounts of cash, but I try to keep enough for meals and if I know I'm going to buy something, I try to have cash.

I pay for most everything by card but I also like to carry cash. The government doesn't need to know everything I purchase!

I know we are heading the way of digital currency and I hate that. It will happen eventually though because young people don't really like carrying cash.

Digital currency will be part of the global reset.
People do not realize the power digital currency will create

If they have all the power..we have none....

An electronic card is far different from the digital currency they have in store for us.

A card shifts your allocation of dollars, or whatever. Those are just numbers. You buy something with a card, and your bank promises, electronically, to pay the merchant the agreed amount of dollars. Meantime those dollars are taken off YOUR bank account, or credit limit.

Imagine dollars that had to be used by a certain time. If not, they drop off...disappear.

Imagine dollars that could only be used to buy APPROVED items. Those would be different than dollars you got from other sources - but you got a government payout, and THOSE dollars can only be used to buy Bug Meal or to charge up your Electric Bicycle.

That's not only possible; you can damn-betcha they WILL do that. Because what they are all about is CONTROLLING the Little People. Which are, us.

Now. Imagine being told you can only have a very-small ration of meat or eggs, or petrol...and then, after you have purchased that ration, you can buy no more. Your card, your bank account, WILL NOT ALLOW you that hamburger or ice cream or another tankful. Because you have had your ration.

Pay with paper dollars? Uh-uh. No such thing, in this digital-currency Hell they're making.

Now. Imagine here in the States, word gets out that I was a MAGA supporter.

My card is switched off. I HAVE NO MONEY. I CAN BUY NOTHING.

All I can do is report to the Re-Education Camp, previously the COVID Camp, in hope of a bowl of bug meal, and six months of brainwashing.

THIS is what this God-damned "Digital Currency" is going to bring us.

I try to explain the above to people...
They say..."Oh I luv just tapping my card...its so quick and convenient..."

Take firearms prohibition. The ONE reason we didn't have the kind of lockdown that happened out your way, was, we, the reluctant and the Refusniks...WE HAVE WEAPONS, STILL. There was that unspoken fear.

Not in Canada; not in Mexico; not in Australia. Certainly not in Europe.

They could fire us, in most states (Montana and Florida being two exceptions) but couldn't force us to submit. Couldn't force people into COVID camps.

I had decided, if they were coming for me, I'd take out the greeters and then DIE. Because I'm not going to live like a prisoner for rejecting their death vetch.

But...yeah. Submission, acquiescence...has consequences for all.

I have gold and I suppose I should get some bitcoin. I don't trust it and don't believe in it - it's a speculative mania, now, and the writers of that code are just LAUGHING...but it can possibly be used as a fallback trading tool.

why wouldnt you use the swiss franc instead? isnt that currency based upon a certain anount of gold held in reserves? the bitcoin fiasco happened because it was a pure speculative play to begin with. zero foundation except for skirting certain curency laws.

I wouldn't use swiss francs because nobody here will TAKE them.

And because there aren't enough to go around. Switzerland's population is a fraction of ours.

Besides which...ever heard of Davos? Know where it is? I am not going to reward Davos with making its currency the reserve currency.

GOLD is far better. Gold can be infinitely reduced. A small unit of gold could be embedded in a larger amount of silver to make a circulating coin - and could be tested. A private mint could do this and launch this money...just identify the gold content in grams, and that becomes our currency unit.

Except The Fuddrel Preserve won't permit it.
