Democrat Logic: Reduce Inflation with More Inflation!

What could be dumber than spending $433B that we don't have during an inflation crisis? Raising taxes by $739B during a recession, that's what.

Could anything be less economically sound than doing either of those two things? Yup! The Dems are about to give us a real demonstration of cluelessness. They're about to do both of those things together — having the most negative impact on the economy achievable by mere mortal men. And they're going to do it while Americans are screaming that the economy is our biggest concern right now. So are the Democrats

tone-deaf?
ignorant economically uninformed?
more focused on ideology than the actual needs of the country?
My money's on "more focused on ideology." They know by now that November is going to be a bloodbath, and they're doing as much as possible to "fundamentally transform" America into North Cuba with their limited time left.

This has all been enabled by Joe Manchin, who finally caved to the pressure of his fellow Democrats and agreed to support a Build Back Better light bill. I guess he didn't want an assassin en route to West Virginia, like what happened with Justice Kavanaugh. But you've got to give the Dems points for moxie. They've named the bill the Inflation Reduction Act — as if Americans won't notice that it accomplishes the exact opposite.

Yep. The middle class is being taxed into poverty and the rich will swoop in and buy their stuff for cheap. This is not a good time to take on more debt.

This inflation we are experiencing now....in my opinion...will never go back to what we thought was semi normal.  This means that at some point...our children and most likely grandchildren will be experiencing very high cost of living..especially food and many will eventually have to apply for a 'gooberment funded food distribution plan.   more control...through food.  exactly what they planned.

as far as the housing situation?   no one is selling because of their low interest rates...which means fewer houses on the market..... which MEANS>..you will own nothing and YOU VILL BEE HAPPY!

That's the argument - and I can see evidence for it.

Not for its long-term soundness. What the hell will suburban homes do BlackRock, if no one can afford to live in them; if no one can afford autos to commute to business centers? If no one WORKS in business centers, because most jobs have been abolished by destroying the leisure, the travel, the automobile, the aircraft industries? Where no one has any money but what are given on government electronic scrip; and can only be spent on **APPROVED** products, like synthetic meat?

You're going to see three-quarters of all work positions wiped out. INCLUDING management.

So, what good is the California Coast going to do the Rich, once they buy it up cheap after Americans have fled it? The only people living there are going to be those to be found in Tijuana. Does anyone think that people who defecate in the river in Tijuana will suddenly become mannered citizens when they move into California's ghost towns, that the rich have beneficiently purchased to rent to them?

This kind of economic looting works well, on a small scale. Try it across the board, and you wind up with nothing. With complete economic apocalypse.

Yep, just look at countries like Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, China, etc., and other Democrat ideology "pals"...
