From the OP article:

It took until Friday to call the Democrat primary for Bates because the margins were tighter and a larger number of mail ballots were cast in the race. The election was held Tuesday. Maryland law prohibits counties from opening mail ballots until the Thursday after election day.

Sounds like perhaps a slightly lesser rat than the one who came before.

Isn't she a dud and biased Prosecutor and he is a Defense Attorney?

I can't see too much change. She went after the wrong people and failed and he defends the scum to get them off.
