Airlines Cancel Nearly 700 Flights as Labor Crunch Weighs

Over 13,000 pilots in the U.S. have gone on strike. They need/want better working conditions, for the most part. The pilot in the interview would like to get through to the public that the situation is the airline's fault, and their point is to better serve the general public.
It's a good interview, so I'd encourage watching it.

(Reuters) - Airlines canceled nearly 700 flights in the United States early Monday, as they struggled to keep up with a surge in summer travel demand due to a shortage of staff ranging from pilots to crew members.

Total flight cancellations within, into, or out of the United States as of 6.07 am ET were 669, as per flight-tracking website Flightaware.com. Nearly 860 flights were canceled on Sunday.

Delta Air Lines, United Airlines Holdings Inc and Republic Airlines Inc had over 100 cancellations each, while American Airlines Group Inc canceled 51 flights as of early Monday.

That's a whole lot of flights being cancelled. The problem is, not enough pilots. Or rather, the airlines' ability to schedule them. Other staff, as well.

It wasn't until the end of the video that one of the news operators brought up the plandemic as being part of the problem. But all that was said about that was so many pilots being furloughed who never came back; nothing about being fired for refusing the jab.

for all intents and purposes, thats United. United Airlines. and what you posted was United. but the pilots who fly Wisconsin are under a contract between Harbor Diversified and United. so striking Wisconsin Airways pilots would shut down United. in about five seconds.

All I know is what's in the article and interview. It appears anyone wanting to fly in to, or out of, Wisconsin may be a bit of trouble.

I used to fly all over the place. Got tired of airport crap - prior to 9-11 - turning me off to flying well over 20 years ago. I haven't seen my sisters in as much time, so am going to cave, and fly on up to CT. If my flight gets cancelled, it won't be pretty. Crying is never pretty.
