My kitty is recuperating from neuter surgery yesterday, he was cryptorchid, it looks like they had to try more than one location, to go after the undescended one.......his belly is completely shaved and stained with Betadine, I can make out at least 2 separate incisions.......kind of hard to tell....looks like the vet may have made an attempt at an incision and, abandoned the idea.......as incompetent as that sounds.
He slept on the bed with us last night, he wanted to be near us, I left him sleeping on the couch and, he came into to the bedroom and, jumped on the bed, then curled up between us.....he doesn't normally do that.
He played a little today but, is still obviously kinda stiff/ sore, he's been sleeping most of the day and, hasn't eaten yet.....understandable, considering he had surgery 24 hours ago.........he has gone to the litter box, though........correction, I do think he ate a little dry food last night.
I opted for the post surgery pain meds, since they had to go into the abdomen for the one testicle but, he shows no signs of being in pain, he's been sleeping quite peacefully, he received IV pain meds during surgery, they may still be in effect.
I didn't mean to hijack this thread, he's not a raccoon but, he does have a striped tail!
It was. Her name is Debbie.
Ok. You took the bait.
She didn't feel his balls first?
I took the bait?
She did.

I had what I thought was a male kitten neutered once and I'm at work and the Vet calls and tells me he can't find his balls (the kittens lol).
I'm like WTF are you on about? Turned out she was a she and not a he but shouldn't he have known that without calling me?
We lived in the country at the time and he was the only Vet available. He killed another of my cats through negligence and I never got over that and he's lucky he kept his balls.

She did.
It was a feeble attempt at humor.

Your humor, sometimes, is a little hard to decipher......plus, I sometimes am a little slow on the uptake.
Yes, she did know but, the wayward one was not likely to have come down on its own.

It was. Her name is Debbie. [/quote] Wasn't "Debbie" the Soviet "woman" who advertised for Wendy's?
